Ozel Christo is the founder and CEO of Neokami. A mathematician with over 15 years of algorithmic development experience, Ozel started Neokami to empower organisations and developers to access cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies to make the world a better place. Prior to founding Neokami, Ozel spent years creating neural networks for some of the world’s largest financial institutions and applying them in a variety of fields including high-frequency quantitative trading, mining & minerals and risk assessment.
Andrei Ciobotar is the founder and CTO of Neokami. As a computer scientist with over 15 years experience, Andrei has dedicated his academic and professional pursuits to everything Big Data and is an expert data integration and backend engineer. Prior to founding Neokami, Andrei spent 3 years developing the HoneyTracks Big Data analytics platform which was later acquired by IQU.
DR. CHENG GUO
HEAD OF RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Dr. Cheng Guo is the head of Research and Development of Neokami. As an experienced computational quantum physicist, Dr. Guo has developed world-leading algorithms with application in nano-technology and quantum computation. He has 20 years of coding experience and is now developing and integrating state-of-art machine learning technologies in computer vision and natural language processing for our customers. Prior to joining Neokami, Dr. Guo has built a distinguished academic career at leading institutions including the Chinese Academy of Sciences and LMU.
Josef Brunner has a successful track record of starting and growing companies, beginning at age 16 when he founded one of the first unified threat management systems. After selling the company to Azlan (now Techdata), Brunner remained to lead the business as head of security. In 2004, Brunner founded Bastille Networks, a company focused on proactive security prevention and monitoring, then sold its main assets to Integralis (now part of NTT Telecom) in 2007. His last startup, JouleX, was acquired by Cisco for 107m in cash in June 2013. Through his venture company, AFT Ventures, Brunner is actively investing in young startups.
Tony Hanway is CEO of Virgin Media Ireland. He has over 20 years senior-level experience in the ICT industry. He worked with AOL UK from 1996 to 2005 as Vice President of Customer Care and MD of AOL Europe Operations Ltd. Since 2005 Tony has held several senior roles with Telefonica O2 Europe; CEO Ireland, Consumer MD Czech Republic and latterly CCO of O2 Deutschland.
Tom Noonan is a General Partner at the early-stage venture capital firm TechOperators. He is the former chairman, president and chief executive officer of Internet Security Systems, Inc., which was acquired in 2007 by IBM. Tom Noonan was most recently CEO of JouleX, a TechOperators investment and a leading innovator in sustainable energy management systems for enterprise customers acquired by Cisco in late 2013.
Roseann Palmieri is a highly respected senior executive, entrepreneur and data-management expert in the Financial Services and Securities Industry with over 25 years experience in successfully leveraging information to drive business growth, particularly by creating and enhancing data management platforms within enterprise-wide shared services model. Her ability to successfully do this at some of the largest banks in the world (incl. Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and Bank of America) as well as the two largest financial information providers, Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters is unrivalled.
Martin Brodbeck is a talented and visionary Chief Technology Officer with over 20 years of experience across the financial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consumer products, media and digital commerce industries. Martin specializes in leading technology transformation programs where technology is a key enabler for business change and growth. Over his 20-year career, he has led companies through mobile, cloud, big data, cyber security, infrastructure, content and product engineering changes that have driven new revenue, costs savings and productivity gains across Fortune 500 companies.
